Over half the group will be away in June when we normally hold the meeting so we are going to have a 1 month Hiatus. When we resume in July we will start back up with the embedded Java topic.

At our meeting this week we discussed several long-term topics to cover in our monthly meetings. One of which was the possibility of doing some hardware interaction with Java on a Rasberry PI computer. At the meeting we discussed a simple robotics platform. Since then I\'ve thought of a home automation setup with a simple web server interface to do thinks like adjust temperature, handle lights, check garage door status etc. To that end I thought I\\\'d post the link on how to get Java SE embedded running on the Rasberry PI
